Happy New Year! For 2013, stay tuned to more detailed jewelry posts and more photos! I’m retiring my iphoneography….and will be giving you juicer shots of my favorite jewelry jams.

Last week I was feeling sooooooooooo lazy and COULD NOT do my hair. I woke up on this day with all intentions to put my hair in a twisted updo and the Lord told me, girl, don’t even do it. I dug out my afro pick, sprayed on some Shea Moisture Thickening Mist and out the door I went. My rule of thumb: the bigger the hair, the bigger the earrings.

A lot of people ask me how I keep my jewelry organized and stored. Here’s my secret! I purchase shoe boxes, label them and separate by color. So easy-peasy. These are only necklaces and bracelets. Earrings are in smaller plastic bins, not pictured here.
